Returning for the 2020 Premier Touch League in full force is the Manukau Raiders squad.
With 16 encumbent players, the Manukau Raiders Women are guaranteed to come out firing after being pipped at the final hurdle by Te Waipounamu in 2019. The squad has plenty of depth across the board with current Touch Blacks and NZ Youth representatives scattered throughout. Jaymie Kolose will be looking to maintain her impressive performance after finishing top Women’s try scorer in 2019 (9 touchdowns in total).
After a wavering 2019 season, the Manukau Raiders Men will draw on the experience of Matthew Sinclair, Nat Turner and Jeremy Rhind-Rogers who will all pull on the gold and white jersey for the first time. Although not booting up, Michael Cavanagh will remain influential with his role as Assistant Coach under Lance Flavell. Their squad includes seven players coming off the back of the 2020 Youth Trans-Tasman campaign including young gun Francis Morrison (NZ 18 Boys).
